Downtown Kirkwood

It was a beautiful fall day in St. Louis today. My friend Amra and I decided to soak up the gorgeous weather and headed to downtown Kirkwood. This area has something for everyone; boutiques, restaurants, bars, even a pottery painting shop. Adorable. We decided to go to Bar Louie for a glass of wine, because we're classy. We caught up and did some people watching. We then got a craving for sushi. After some high tech searching, aka google, we discovered that there was a sushi place within walking distance. Thank goodness. We headed to the right of the street and a after a little bit of walking, we discovered it was to the left. Typical. We finally made it to Sushi Bistro. It was dark inside and there were no cars in the parking lot...hmm. Amra called the place and they just so happened to be opening as soon as we got there. Phew!! The sushi was delicious, and beautiful!

Amra enjoyed her sushi as well.

So precious. After filling our bellies with sushi, we walked to the Kirkwood farmers market. And yes, it was adorable as well. The farmers market also had a little pumpkin patch. So fall.

The market was filled with Halloween goodies and regular farmers market items. Amra picked up some apple cider and seedless grapes. So healthy of her. I went for the chocolate covered peanuts. Happy fall y'all!
